Open Ears is a registered charity for people who have impaired hearing and anyone else who is sympathetic to their special needs and problems. Our main ministry is to deafened people who generally don’t use sign language, although we also attract and welcome BSL users, and always endeavour to provide sign-language interpreters at our events when required. Open Ears is a Christian fellowship with no denominational barriers. Realising that Christians with impaired hearing miss out to some extent in their own churches, Open Ears provides: • Additional fellowship • Bible teaching • Prayer support • Pastoral care • Conferences/fellowship days • Advice for Churches • Publish quarterly magazine 'Hearing Eye’ • Local group meetings However we encourage our members to be as involved as they possibly can be in their own churches and fellowships. |
