What We Do:

ACT is the only organisation working across the UK to achieve the best possible quality of life and care for every child who has a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their family Hearing the news that your child has a health condition that is life-threatening or that will shorten their life is devastating. It’s a time when families need time, care, support and information. ACT aims to help families and all professionals that work with them, every step of the way. We raise awareness about what families and children need, help professionals to deliver the best possible care and support, and provide families with information and help.

ACT has three strategic objectives: ACT campaigns for improved provision of children’s palliative care services. ACT works with professionals to support the delivery of the best care possible. ACT informs families and empower them to have a voice in the development of the services and policies that affect them.
