The Aiming High for Disabled Children Short Breaks Pathfinder Programme
The Centre for Disability Research at Lancaster University (CeDR) and the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) have been commissioned by the Department for Children, Schools and Families to evaluate the Short Breaks Programme and to investigate the impact of short breaks on the well-being of disabled children and their families. Short breaks can vary from a few hours a week to overrnight stays.
We want to hear from families of disabled children what role short breaks play in their lives and what are the major issues for them in using short breaks.
If you would like to tell us about your experience of using short breaks or if you want to know more about the project, please get in touch.
